Police: Two Arrested for Drug Charges in Boyle County

BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – According to the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office on Friday morning they conducted a search warrant at a home in Danville.

This resulted in the arrest of George Whitehead and Matraca McKinney, both of Danville.

Deputies say inside the home they recovered heroin, black tar heroin, crystal meth, digital scales and five separate food stamp cards that did not belong to them.

Whitehead and McKinney were charge with the following:

-Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess Third Street, Danville -Trafficking In Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 2nd Or Greater Offense (Heroin)
-Trafficking In Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
-False Statement/Misrepresent To Receive Benefits Over $100
-Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess

They are in the Boyle County Detention Center.
