Police: Stolen car found, weapons and vest still missing

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Frankfort Police say a man called in to report a stolen car from Meadowview Drive, around 7 a.m. July 7.

Officers say they located the car on High Wood drive, an hour and a half later, keys still with the car. Major Warfel with Frankfort Police said they are worried, because a number of weapons and a bullet proof vest had been inside the vehicle before it was stolen, and are now missing. A laptop was also reported stolen.

Police report they do not currently have any suspects for this crime.
