Police: Shooter fires into bedroom, one dead
(LEXINGTON, Ky.) – Police say a man suffered life-threatening injuries, later dying after a shooting on Gerald Drive around 2 a.m. Tuesday.
Investigators told ABC 36 that someone shot into the bedroom window of the man’s home while he and his wife were sleeping. The man was hit at least four times in the abdomen and leg and was rushed to University of Kentucky Hospital. Unfortunately, it was too late for 55-year-old Thomas W. Brown, who was pronounced dead by the UKMC Emergency department at 3:03 a.m.

Police say the wife was not hit and there was a child in the home at the time of the shooting.
Authorities believe the suspect took off on foot.
According to Police, the victims are not sure why their home was targeted.
This is the fifth shooting in three days that police are investigating. They are asking anyone with information to give them a call or leave a tip anonymously through the Bluegrass Crime Stoppers Hotline at (859) 253-2020.
