Police searching for suspect in Family Dollar robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are searching for a suspect involved in robbery at a Family Dollar store Sunday evening.

Police say at around 8 p.m. a man wearing a mask walked into the store and demanded cash from the clerk.

Investigators say the suspect never showed a weapon, but implied that he had one.

The clerk gave up the cash and the suspect took off.

No injuries were reported.
