Police search for suspect in shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Lexington police are investigating a shooting that left one man seriously injured Monday night.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were called around 6:30 p.m. to Ascot Park, near Armstrong Mill Road and River Park Drive, after reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police say the victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. No information has been released about a possible suspect or motive.
