Police search for armed robbery suspect

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington police are searching for a man suspected in an armed robbery.

Police say a man broke into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment on Centre Parkway around 2:30 Saturday morning.

Police say he kicked in the door, pulled out a knife, and stole some personal items.

The woman’s current boyfriend suffered a cut on the finger, but he didn’t want to go to the hospital.

Police are searching for a suspect.
