LPD: Police respond to multiple shots fired calls in Lexington overnight
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say they responded to multiple shots fired calls in Lexington overnight.
Officers say they were first called to Hanna Place Sunday at around 11 p.m.
Investigators say they found at least 6 shell casings in the street.
One home and two cars parked in the driveway were hit in the shooting, according to police.
ABC 36 was told that three people were home at the time of the shooting and were unharmed.
Police say the residents told them they have no reason to believe anyone would target their home.
Around midnight, police were called about another similar shooting on Hollow Creek Road, near Green Acres park.
Investigators say multiple shots were fired at a home.
According to investigators, the homeowner told police the shots woke them up and it sounded like the shots were fired in their backyard.
At this time, Investigators say they have no leads on who is responsible for either shooting.
