Police: Paris Pike Convenience store robbery investigation underway

LEXINGTON, Ky, (WTVQ)- Lexington Police are investigating an early morning robbery at Nickel’s Foot Mart Monday. Investigators say a cashier was closing when two men dressed in black with gloves and covered faces approached the cashier.

One of the suspects had a firearm and they demanded money.

They then fled with an undetermined amount of cash to the apartments behind the gas station.

Officers report that no one was injured.
