Police Officer Fights Tree Fire

A Lexington police officer took on a different job early Friday morning.

The officer was driving on Belleau Wood Drive near Wilson Downing when he spotted a tree on fire in front of a home.

By the time firefighters arrived, the officer had already put the fire out using a fire extinguisher.

No one was hurt and there was no damage to the home.
