Police: “No” Sends Would-Be Robber On His Way
The word "no" was apparently enough to stop a robbery at a Lexington convenience store Thursday.
According to police, a man walked into the Speedway on North Broadway at around 11 p.m. and used the phone.
He then walked up to store employees, implied he had a weapon and told them to give him money.
They told him "no" and police said he then left empty handed.
They are still searching for the suspect.
