Police: Missing Lexington Man Found Dehydrated In Field
Lexington Police said a missing man was found Wednesday afternoon.
Officers said the 82-year-old man went for a mid-morning walk near Spears Road and didn’t return.
Police were concerned because they said the man suffered from Alzheimer’s.
According to officers, he was found about a mile and a half from his home in a field of tall grass.
The Kentucky National Guard helped in the search.
Police said the man was conscious but dehydrated.
He was taken to St. Joseph Hospital.
Police did not release his name.
