Police: Marijuana grow operation found in Berea home

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – Berea police say two men are facing charges after officers find a marijuana grow operation in a home.

According to the Berea Police Department, officers were called to the home on Blue Lick Road Tuesday after receiving a tip.

When officers searched the home, they say they discovered 39 marijuana plants.

Police took 20-year-old Vincent Perry into custody.

A second man, 40-year-old Marshall Laws, was also charged.

Police say Laws was already in jail on other charges.

Both are charged with cultivating marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession.
