Police: Man Lays In Road After Crash

According to police, a drunk driver decided to take a rest following a crash early Wednesday morning, but he picked a dangerous spot.

Police said an 18-year-old man had been drinking when he crashed into a parked SUV just before 1 a.m. on Cephas Way.

They said the driver then decided to get out of his car, walk across the street and lay down in the road.

That’s where police found him when they arrived.

He was taken to UK Hospital. We’re told his injuries were not serious.

Police said his passenger ran off after the crash.
