Police: Man guarding fireworks tent robbed

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Georgetown police say a man guarding a fireworks tent in a Kroger parking lot was robbed Thursday.

Police say someone wearing a mask came up to him, pulled a pocketknife and demanded money.

The man tells police he handed over $15 and the thief took off.

Police believe the suspect jumped into a waiting car.
