Police: Man Gives Personal Info Then Runs
A man is in trouble for throwing punches at an officer, according to Lexington police.
Police said Joshua Lockard, 33, was stopped Friday for jumping on the roof of a car on Prall Street and South Limestone.
He rode on the roof of the car and when an officer told him to get off of the car, he said Lockard refused.
When he finally did, he gave the officer his name, date of birth and social security number then ran off.
The officer said he caught up to Lockard, who threw punches at him but only managed to hit his arm.
Lockard was taken into custody and charged with assault on an officer, fleeing and evading and disorderly conduct.
