Police: Man confesses to robbing Lexington auto parts store

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police arrested a Lexington man who they say admitted to robbery.

They say Zachary Pelfrey took a lawn mower and weed eater out of someone’s garage Tuesday and took $1,500 from someone else’s home on August 25th.

He’s also accused of robbing an Advance Auto Parts in January.

Officers say he went into the store on Versailles Road with a knife and another person and they demanded money from the register and the safe, got the money, and left.

Court documents say he admitted committing that crime.

He’s scheduled to be formally accused Wednesday.
