Police: Man arrested for DUI after crashing into school bus

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Pikeville Police say a man was driving under the influence when his car ran into the back of a school bus that was stopped at a red light.

They say it happened this afternoon at the intersection near the Walmart in Pikeville.

Police say the man was arrested for DUI. His name wasn’t released.

Investigators say the two children on the bus were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
