Police look for suspect involved in shooting that injured teen

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police say they’re looking for suspect s after a teenager was shot Sunday evening.

Officers say they heard about six gun shots while at their roll call building near Centre Parkway.

They found an 18-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his left ankle.

Police say the teen hasn’t given them a lot of information yet, but they know he was walking on River Park Crossing over Centre Parkway to a nearby apartment complex.

Officers say they found shell casings on River Park.

A witness has told them a silver Toyota Camry with five people inside sped away soon after.
