Police: A Kentucky man was shot inside a home in Ashland

ASHLAND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Ashland Police say a man was shot inside a home Sunday night.

Police say they received a call about a shooting around 8 p.m. They say 38-year-old Eddie R. Smith was found shot at a home at the intersection of South 29th Street and Beech Street.

According to police, Smith was airlifted to Cabell Huntington Hospital and is stable after undergoing surgery.

At this time, police say no arrests have been made.
