Police issue Golden Alert for missing man in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – University of Kentucky Police issued a Golden Alert for man who walked away from a university clinic Friday afternoon.

UK Police say Salvador Ortiz has been missing since around noon from the 700 block of South Limestone area. Police say Ortiz is 5’4" and weighs 146 lbs. He has gray/brown hair and is balding on top.

Lexington Police and Fire also joined the search. They say there is a heavy presence of emergency personnel in the South Limestone area.
