Update: Juvenile charged in overnight shooting in Lexington

(WTVQ)- Lexington Police say a juvenile has been charged in connection with a midnight shooting on Alexandria Drive.
LPD says officers responded just around 12:36 A.M. to the 1300 block of Alexandria Drive for a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with reported critical injuries. The shooting stemmed from a disorder.
During the investigation, Personal Crimes Section detectives were able to identify and locate the suspect.
A 16-year-old was charged with Assault 1st Degree, Possession of a Handgun by a Minor 2nd, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
The juvenile is currently being held at a juvenile detention center.

LEXINGTON, KY (WTVQ)- Lexington Police are investigating two overnight shootings.
Police say the first happened around 11:44 p.m. Saturday, when they responded to Breckinridge Street and Shropshire Avenue for a shots fired call.
Police say they didn’t find anyone, but a property had been shot.
LPD says a man later checked himself into a hospital with reported non-life threatening injuries. According to police, the man was connected to the shooting.
Police are also investigating another shooting overnight.

When they arrived, they found an adult male suffering from a gun shot wound. The man was taken to the hospital with reported life-threatening injuries.
Police aren’t sure if the two shootings are connected.
Officers are continuing to investigate both incidents.
