Police investigating theft at ballpark

Lexington, Ky. – The Lexington Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.

In the overnight hours of Thursday, May 18, two men were seen on surveillance video climbing the back fence near the clubhouse and entering the ballpark. The subjects were then seen entering two separate concession stands and taking cash drawers and drinks. The cash drawers were empty but are valued at several hundred dollars.

Investigators today released surveillance images of the incident in hopes of identifying the men. They are described as white males in their 20s. One of the men has a tattoo on his right bicep.
