Police investigating suspicious death from May as homicide

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington police say what was considered a suspicious death in May is now being investigated as a homicide.

According to detectives, someone killed 24-year-old Abraham Piedra Sunday, May 13th around 7:30 PM.

Officers say they found Piedra dead inside his apartment on Daniel Court near Hillcrest Memorial Park.

At that time, the county coroner determined the death was suspicious, but now the medical examiner has classified it a homicide.
