Police investigating a string of car break-ins

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police are investigating a string of car break-ins that happened overnight.

Police say it happened around 1 a.m. in the area around Todd’s Road.

A call came in about someone breaking into a car on Bunch Berry Road, according to police.

Then when an officer went to check it out, a possible suspect hit the officer’s car before driving off.

The officer is okay.
