UPDATE: Stamping Ground man killed after being hit by car

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Scott County resident was killed late Saturday night when he was struck by a car crossing Athens-Boonesboro Road in Fayette County.
According to Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn, 49-year-old Robert Lynn Snow, of Stamping Ground, died from blunt force trauma after being hit by a vehicle as he tried t cross the highway at abut 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
An autopsy is scheduled Monday.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police is investigating a serious crash where a person was hit by a car on Saturday.
Police say it happened at Athens Boonesboro and I-75 just before 11 P.M.
They say originally it was a hit and run but while the reconstruction unit was investigating the crash, the driver returned and was charged in relation to the crash.
The man hit hasn’t been identified.
