Police investigating early morning robbery at Speedway

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) –  Police are investigating a robbery that happened off of East New Circle Road at the Speedway around 3 a.m. Monday.

Police say a man dressed in dark clothes with a red or orange mask or shirt over his face entered into the Speedway with a knife in hand.

The suspect robbed the store of cash and took off around the back of the building.
