Police investigating early-morning robbery at Winchester Road Speedway

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say they are investigating an early-morning robbery at the Speedway on Winchester Road.

Officials say the robbery happened around 3 a.m. Thursday.

A man carrying a handgun came into the store, demanded money and ran off with cash, according to Police.

Investigators say the suspect took off down Winchester Road.

Police say no one was injured.

Investigators do have surveillance video from the store and are going over it to try and get more information on the suspect.
