Police investigate vehicle shootings near Bull Creek Trade Center in Prestonsburg
PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — The Prestonsburg Police Department is investigating a string of vehicle shootings that happened late Friday night near the Bull Creek Trade Center.
According to police, four drivers have now come forward reporting bullet damage to their vehicles. All the incidents occurred within a 20-minute window along U.S. 23.
Investigators believe the shootings may have been an isolated “scare tactic.” Surveillance footage has led officers to identify a possible suspect vehicle.
Police say a felony arrest is expected soon. In the meantime, additional patrols have been assigned to the area as a precaution.
