Police Investigate: Two People Shot In Owsley County

State Police are investigating a double shooting in Owsley County.

Police said they were called to Seales Road around 8:15 p.m. Saturday night.

Officers said they found Abner Gabbard, 71, dead on the scene and Andy Smith, 25, with a gunshot wound to his chest.

Smith was taken to UK Hospital for treatment.

Police will continue to investigate.
