Police investigate shooting on Cantrill Drive in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Tuesday evening in Lexington.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were dispatched around 5:30 p.m. on March 17, 2026, to a home in the 1700 block of Cantrill Drive for a report of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they located a male victim who had been shot. Authorities say the victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, police say no suspect information has been released.
