Police investigate shooting at Lexington home

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A gunfight in a home leaves one man wounded and police looking for suspects.

Lexington Police were called to the home in the 400-block of Chelsea Woods Drive around 3:47 p.m. Thursday for a report of an assault with a weapon.

They found a man in the home suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

According to police, the victim got into a fight with another man and several shots were fired.

Two men left from the scene. Police are still searching for them.

Police do not believe it was a random shooting and say it may be drug-related.
