Police investigate possible shooting in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington Police are investigating a possible shooting.

Officers say they responded to a call of shots fired at 5th and Hawkins Saturday afternoon, but found neither shell casings nor a victim there.

Later, someone showed up at Samaritan Hospital with a gunshot wound.

Police say that man tells them he didn’t get shot at 5th and Hawkins but Race Street.

Officers say they’ve gone to both locations trying to find a crime scene and sort out what happened.
