UPDATE: Coroner identifies man found shot on Lexington sidewalk

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead on a downtown sidewalk.

Police say they were called around 3 a.m. Monday about a person who was lying on a sidewalk on Ohio Street near E. 4th Street.

Police say, when they arrived, they found 32-year-old Christopher Snow dead.

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office says Snow died from a gunshot wound.

Police say they don’t know what led up to the shooting but that their investigation is ongoing.
