Police investigate early-morning shooting in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One person is hurt after a shooting at about 4 a.m. Thursday on Versailles Road in Lexington. Police say it happened near Red Mile.

Police say the man does not have any life-threatening injuries. He was able to drive away from the scene.

Police are looking into what happened.

Police said the man called police at about 4 a.m. and said he had been shot by an unknown suspect in a vehicle. The man drove to a safe location and contacted police.
