Frankfort Police investigating the death of a mother and child

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are investigating the death of a mother and child in Frankfort.

According to Frankfort Police, Kirsten Dean died of multiple self inflicted stab wounds and her child Jaxton Dean died from drowning.

Police say she arrived at an acquaintance home off Dogwood lane sometime on Sunday. The two were found by the home owner around 8 p.m., according to investigators.

Police say there have been no arrests and they do not have any suspects.

They are call it an active, ongoing death investigation.
