Police investigate deadly shooting; Coroner identifies victim
UPDATE: The Fayette County Coroner’s Office says 45-year-old Andrew Boyd is the victim who was shot and killed. According to the coroner’s office, no city of residence was given.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found shot to death Thursday evening on Blazer Parkway.
According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were called to the 3400 block of Blazer Parkway around 7:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a male victim lying in a parking lot. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say all involved parties have been identified, and detectives are working to determine what led to the shooting. According to the preliminary investigation, there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s name.
