UPDATE: Man indicted for murder in two-year-old stabbing case

Update from May 25, 2021:

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man has been indicted in connection with a Frankfort stabbing death that happened more than two-years ago, according to a Facebook post by Frankfort Police.

On Tuesday, a Franklin County Grand Jury indicted 39-year-old Edward Gravely on a charge of murder in connection to the stabbing death of 45-year-old Phillip J. Hellard, according to police.

Hubbard was found unresponsive on Owenton Avenue on April 12, 2019, according to police. He died at the scene.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Frankfort police detectives are working on a death investigation.

The Frankfort Police Department says it happened near Owenton Avenue just before 11 p.m. Friday night.

Investigators say 45-year-old Phillip Hellard, of Frankfort, was found unresponsive on the ground.

He was pronounced dead at the scene from a stab wound, according to police.
