Police: Family fight leads to damaged car
DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – One man was arrested after police say he threw a large rock at a car with family members inside.
Danville police were called to Michelle Court around 3:50 a.m. Sunday to a report of a disturbance.
Officers say 38-year-old Robert Hawkins, of Danville, got into a fight with members of his family, who got into a car to leave the home.
According to police, Hawkins threw a large rock at the car as they left, causing extensive damage.
When one of the people got out of the car to confront him, police say Hawkins grabbed a bladed gardening tool and approached the person in a threatening manner.
Hawkins is charged with wanton endangerment, criminal mischief and menacing.
