Police: Elderly woman killed in two vehicle crash

RUSSELL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – An elderly woman has died and two others were taken to the hospital in Russell Springs after a two vehicle accident, according to officials.

Police say on Wednesday, off Highway 910, Odellia Jones, 88,  crossed the center line and hit another vehicle head on.

They say Jones was pronounced dead on the scene.

In the vehicle Jones hit head on was a 29-year old woman and her two year toddler, according to detectives.

State Police say both were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
