Police: Drove locates trespassing suspect in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Drone located a trespassing suspect in Georgetown, according to authorities.

Police say officers responded to a burglary alarm at a business on Sunday.

When they arrived they located two suspects trespassing on the property, according to officials.

Police say based on the information from the alarm company officers believed there was a third suspect.

The officers on scene called for the GPD Drone Unit to respond to the scene.

When the drone got on scene it was able to locate a third suspect on the roof, according to investigators.

They say the suspect was given a verbal command to come down.

The suspect came down off the roof and was arrested by the Georgetown Police Department, according to authorities.
