Police: Driver charged with DUI, hits man on electric scooter

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police said early Saturday morning a man was hit while riding an electric scooter, the driver charged with DUI.

It happened on South Limestone around 2 a.m.

The driver hit a man on an electric scooter, sending him to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Police said the driver was showing signs of intoxication and was charged with DUI, as well as assault.
