Police chase in Owensboro ends with one man arrested

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WTVQ) – State police have arrested a man after a chase in Owensboro that damaged a police cruiser.

According to KSP, officers attempted to stop 25 year-old Deonte Holland because he appeared to be potentially driving under the influence.

Holland drove away from deputies, eventually swerved and collided head-on into a trooper’s car.

After troopers blocked in Holland, KSP says he surrendered and was arrested.

State police say he’s facing five charges including wanton endangerment, reckless driving, and evading police.
