Updated with mugshot: Police arrest man for stabbing at Malabu Pub in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police have arrested a man they say stabbed two people at Malabu Pub on Surfside Drive late Thursday night.

According to police, they were called to Malabu Pub just before 11 o’clock Thursday night because of a reported stabbing.

They say Kevin Jackson became upset after being cut off at the bar, then unsheathed his cane sword and stabbed two people.

One victim was taken to the hospital with injuries police describe as moderate.

The other had a minor injury.

They say other customers of the bar were able to restrain Jackson until police arrived, at which time he was arrested.
