Police arrest man for stabbing

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police have arrested a man they say confessed to stabbing another man.

According to police, 23-year-old Austin Jones is facing an assault charge, after they say he stabbed another man on York Street on Saturday afternoon.

Police say the stabbing happened around 1 o’clock and Jones was arrested just after 2 o’clock.

They say he confessed to the crime even before he was read his rights.
