Police: Anderson County Teen Threatens To “Do Another Columbine”

An Anderon County teen faces felony charges after he threatened to "do another Columbine."

Police say they received a report of threatening messages sent to a student and and Anderson County High School just after midnight.

City officers and Anderson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested the suspect, 19-year-old James Tindal, Jr.

A police search at the school turned up nothing, but parents were notified.

Tindal is in the Shelby County Detention Center facing charges of terroristic threatening and harassing communications.

Anderson County High School is open as usual.
