Police: Alcohol, Speed Factors In Crash
Police said alcohol and speed were factors in a crash in Lexington that sent a wood plank through a driver’s windshield.
The accident happened just before 1 a.m. Monday on Russell Cave Road just past Ironworks Road.
According to police, the driver overcorrected, crossed the road and went through a fence.
The car ended up on its side with a plank through the windshield.
Police said the driver suffered minor injuries.
