Police Activity Causes Knox Co. School to Dismiss Late

KNOX, Ky. (WTVQ) – Knox County School officials say some students were let out later than normal on Friday because of a police situation near the school.

Knox Central and Central Elem buses were delayed because of a police investigation in a nearby community, according to the school district.

The schools were not directly impacted and students were released around 4 p.m.
