Police: 5 Arrested In Connection To Robbery
Five men were arrested following a traffic stop in Lexington Wednesday.
Police said the five men were involved in a robbery on Walden Drive and Laredo Drive.
They said two men were walking down the street at around 1:20 a.m. when a dark-colored Oldsmobile pulled up near them and a group of men jumped out.
The victims told police the men were armed with guns and forced them to hand over their wallets and phones.
They got back into their car and took off.
Police said an officer not far from the scene saw the vehicle on Man o’ War Boulevard and Alumni Drive
and stopped it.

They said a search of the vehicle turned up stolen items along with a shotgun and a pistol.
All five men in the car were taken into custody.
Police said the suspects are expected to be charged with robbery.
