Four teenagers charged in shooting and robbery of another teen

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Four teenagers have been charged in connection to a shooting that left another teen in critical condition, according to Lexington Police.

Investigators arrested 18-year-old Timothy D. Redmond III on Sunday. Officers say Redmond, along with a 14-year-old and two 17-year-old boys, lured the 16-year-old victim to the area of Centre Parkway and Canonero Drive to rob him of drugs.

Police say Redmond fired a gun into the right side of the victim’s neck after they got into a struggle. Officers say the bullet traveled into the victim’s neck and down into his body.

After the shooting, police say the victim walked into a fire station on Man O’ War Boulevard for help.

According to police, Redmond was charged with robbery and assault and the other teens with robbery.
