Police: 2-year-old Corbin boy shot in head by 3-year-old dies
CORBIN, Ky. (WTVQ)

More details are being released following a shooting that left 2-year-old Milo dead.
Whitley County Sheriff Bill Elliotte says the child who shot Milo is 3 years old.
The 3-year-old apparently got access to a handgun that was on top of a refrigerator inside the home.
“It’s our belief right now that the gun was on top of a refrigerator, and the child had crawled on a stool and a cabinet, and was able to retrieve the firearm,” Elliotte told the Associated Press.
The sheriff made a plea to parents to lock up their firearms to keep them out of the hands of children.
Elliotte said his office would investigate the death and submit findings to the Whitley County prosecutor’s office, which would decide whether any charges should be filed.
